The GIBRALTAR BE-1032 is a die mold ejector blade designed for use in injection mold tooling applications. Ejector blades serve a critical function in the mold ejection system, pushing flat or thin-walled molded parts off the core side of the mold at the end of each cycle. This blade measures 0.046 inches thick and 0.172 inches wide, with an overall height of 7.5 inches, making it suited for precision ejection of parts with narrow or slot-style ejection zones. Mold makers, toolroom machinists, and moldbuilders are the primary users of this component.
Ejector blades like the BE-1032 are used in plastic injection molding operations where standard round ejector pins cannot provide adequate ejection force distribution across a thin or elongated part feature. They are installed in the ejector plate assembly of the mold base, aligned to the ejection direction, and retained by the ejector retainer plate. This component is appropriate for both production molds and prototype tooling across a range of industries including automotive, consumer products, and industrial manufacturing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement ejector blade for use in standard die mold ejector plate assemblies requiring a 0.046-inch-thick by 0.172-inch-wide blade profile.
Installation is performed by qualified mold makers or toolroom technicians. The mold must be fully de-energized, cooled, and removed from the press before ejector plate disassembly. Blade slots in the mold core and ejector retainer plate should be checked for fit and alignment before final assembly. Do not force an oversized blade into a slot, as this can damage the mold steel or cause premature blade failure.
