With a plunger projection of 2.5 mm and a maximum plunger diameter of 1.78 mm, the 67009G is suited for precision assemblies where controlled engagement force is required. Initial end force is 0.70 pounds and final end force is 2.3 pounds, making it appropriate for light indexing loads. Installation requires a properly tapped M4 x 0.70 through-hole or blind hole with sufficient depth to accept the 16 mm thread length. Use an appropriate hex key sized for the 2 mm hex drive to thread the plunger into place. Ensure the mating surface and bore are clean and free of chips before installation to avoid cross-threading or interference with plunger travel. Do not over-torque, as the steel body can be damaged in soft aluminum fixtures.
