The GIBRALTAR 41428G is a blind tapped T-slot nut designed for securing workpieces and fixtures to T-slotted machine tables, fixtures, and structural framing systems. Machined from 1018 steel with a black oxide finish, this nut features a 1-8 thread size with right-hand thread direction. The blind tap design conceals the thread from below, keeping the fastening surface clean and protecting threads from contamination. With an overall length of 2 inches and a base width of 2 inches, it fits a 1.25-inch slot width, making it well-suited for industrial fixturing, welding tables, and machine tool setups. Machinists, fabricators, and toolroom technicians are the typical installers.
This T-slot nut is used in industrial and manufacturing environments where repeatable, adjustable clamping is required on T-slotted surfaces. It fits table slots sized at 32 millimeters. Common applications include milling machine tables, drill press tables, welding fixture rails, and modular aluminum or steel framing systems. The black oxide finish provides mild corrosion resistance for shop floor conditions. Sold individually.
Designed for use in T-slotted machine tables, fixturing rails, and structural framing systems with a 1.25-inch slot width or equivalent 32-millimeter table slot size.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom technicians. Slide the nut into the T-slot from an open end and position it before threading in the clamping stud or bolt by hand. Ensure the table or fixture is de-energized and clear of moving parts before installing or adjusting T-slot hardware. Do not exceed the load rating of the mating fastener or clamping stud used with this nut.
