The GIBRALTAR 41427TG is a through-tapped T-slot nut designed for securing workpieces and fixtures to T-slotted machine tables, extrusions, and tooling plates. Machined from 1018 steel with a black oxide finish, this nut features a right-hand 1-8 thread and fits a slot width of 1.125 inches. The base measures 1.75 inches wide by 0.75 inches in height, while the overall length is 2 inches and the overall height is 1.5 inches. Machinists, toolmakers, and fixture builders install this hardware when setting up workholding on milling tables, surface plates, and modular fixturing systems.
This T-slot nut is suited for inch-measurement machine tables and T-slot extrusion systems with a 29.00 mm nominal slot size. It is a standard component in machine shop fixturing, CNC setup, and manual mill workholding applications. The through-tapped design accepts a full-length bolt or stud, making it appropriate for setups that require a through-bolt clamping arrangement rather than a blind-tapped configuration.
Designed for use with T-slotted machine tables and extrusion systems with a 29.00 mm slot size and inch-based fastener patterns requiring a 1-8 threaded T-slot nut.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolmakers during machine table setup or fixture assembly. Slide the nut into the T-slot from an open end or drop it in at a 90-degree angle and rotate into position before threading in the clamping bolt or stud. Ensure the machine table or extrusion is de-energized and any moving axes are locked before performing fixturing work. Do not overtorque the clamping fastener beyond the capacity of the base material or table slot.
