The GIBRALTAR 41412TG is a tapped through T-slot nut designed for securing workpieces and fixtures to slotted tables, rails, and extrusions. Machined from 1018 steel with a black oxide finish, it accepts a 1/2-13 right-hand thread and fits an 11/16-inch (0.6875 inches) slot width. The base measures 1-1/8 inches wide by 7/16 inches tall. Overall dimensions are 1-1/4 inches in length and 3/4 inches in height. The through-tapped design allows a bolt to pass fully through the nut, which is standard in fixturing and machine table applications. Machinists, toolmakers, and fixture builders are the primary installers of this hardware.
This T-slot nut is used in machine shop environments where workpieces, clamps, stops, or jigs must be secured to a slotted table or fixture plate. It is suited for mill tables, welding fixtures, and modular workholding systems that use T-slots compatible with an 18 mm slot size. The inch-standard thread and right-hand drive make it a direct fit for common North American fixturing setups. Single-piece packaging supports individual replacement or small-quantity builds.
Designed for use in T-slot tables and fixture systems with an 18 mm slot width, using inch-standard 1/2-13 threaded fasteners.
Installation is performed by machinists or fixture technicians without specialized tools beyond standard hand or power wrenches. Slide the nut into the T-slot channel before positioning the mating bolt or stud. Ensure the slot channel is free of debris before insertion to prevent binding. Torque the mating fastener to the workholding fixture manufacturer's specification.
