Installation is performed by threading the stud body into a properly tapped 1/4-20 bore using an appropriate hex key or spanner tool on the body flats. Verify the bore depth accommodates the 0.625-inch body length and allows the full 0.125-inch plunger projection. The integrated locking element should be engaged after final positioning to prevent the plunger from backing out under vibration. Do not overtighten, as excess torque can deform the plunger housing or alter spring force characteristics.
