The GIBRALTAR 30921G is a carbon steel clamp strap designed for workholding and fixturing applications in machining, fabrication, and general industrial environments. It features a radius nose profile and accepts a 3/4 inch stud with a 3/4-10 tap size. The strap measures 6 inches in overall length, 1-3/4 inches wide, and 1 inch high, with 1-3/4 inches of travel to accommodate varying workpiece heights. A black finish provides basic corrosion resistance for shop use. Machinists, tool and die makers, and maintenance technicians working with milling machines, drill presses, and surface tables are the primary users of this component.
This clamp strap suits standard T-slot table setups commonly found on vertical mills, drill presses, and fixture plates. The radius nose design allows the strap to pivot and apply clamping force evenly across the workpiece surface. The non-serrated bearing surface helps protect finished or semi-finished part faces during setup. It is sold individually and is compatible with conventional step block and stud clamping setups where a 3/4-10 threaded stud is used.
Designed for use with standard 3/4-10 threaded clamping studs in conventional step block and T-slot workholding setups on milling machines, drill presses, and fixture plates.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom technicians familiar with workholding setups. Ensure the machine table is powered down and at rest before adjusting or repositioning clamps. Use appropriate step blocks and a properly sized T-slot nut to match the table slot dimensions. Tighten the clamping stud nut to secure the strap without overloading the stud threads.
