Geovision 620-LPR-001 Lpr Dvr Software Usb 1 Lane

Product Description

The GEOVISION 620-LPR-001 is a single-lane License Plate Recognition (LPR) and Digital Video Recorder (DVR) software package distributed on a USB dongle. The dongle serves as the license key, enabling the LPR and DVR functions on a supported host system without requiring a network-based activation server. This software is used by security integrators and surveillance technicians to add automated plate-capture and recording capability to camera-based access and monitoring installations. The unit is sold individually and falls under the software category.

This software is suited for single-lane vehicle entry and exit monitoring in commercial and light-industrial environments. Typical deployments include parking facilities, gated communities, loading docks, and controlled-access driveways where automated license plate capture and DVR archiving are required. Installation is performed by qualified security system integrators familiar with GEOVISION platform architecture and IP camera configuration.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed security systems integrator or technician familiar with GEOVISION software platforms. Insert the USB dongle into the host machine before launching the software to ensure the license is properly recognized. Follow the GEOVISION product manual for system requirements, camera configuration, and lane setup procedures. Do not remove the USB dongle while the software is actively running, as this may interrupt license validation and disrupt recording functions.
