The GEORGE RISK INDUSTRIES INC. E-Z 75 COM-B is a 1-1/4 inch brown surface-mount raceway designed for routing and protecting low-voltage wiring, control cables, and signal lines along walls, ceilings, and other flat surfaces. Commonly used in security, alarm, and building automation installations, this raceway provides a clean finished appearance while keeping conductors organized and protected. It is sold individually and is a standard component in surface wiring and cable management systems installed by electricians, low-voltage technicians, and security professionals.
This raceway is suited for residential and light commercial applications where concealed in-wall routing is not practical or permitted. Typical install scenarios include thermostat wiring runs, security sensor cables, audio-visual signal lines, and intercom system wiring. The brown color blends with standard interior trim and wall finishes, making it a common choice for retrofit installations where aesthetics matter alongside function.
Designed as an OEM-style surface raceway component compatible with 1-1/4 inch E-Z Duct raceway system installations for low-voltage and control wiring applications.
Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or low-voltage technicians in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for raceway and surface wiring systems. De-energize all circuits in the work area before routing or connecting any conductors within the raceway. Secure the raceway base to the mounting surface before laying conductors, then snap or fasten the cover in place per the manufacturer assembly method. Do not exceed the rated fill capacity of the raceway channel.
