The GENUINE JOE GJO01015 is a clear can liner made from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), designed for high-volume waste containment in commercial and institutional settings. Each bag measures 40 by 46 inches with a 0.6 mil thickness, fitting 40 to 45 gallon trash receptacles. The star-bottom construction — also known as an X-seal — distributes weight evenly across the base of the bag, reducing stress points and improving puncture resistance during heavy loads. These bags are sold in a carton of 250, making them well suited for facilities that cycle through liners at high frequency. Janitorial staff and facility maintenance crews are the primary installers.
These can liners are intended for general-purpose waste collection in offices, schools, healthcare facilities, food service environments, and light industrial settings. The clear film allows visual identification of bag contents without opening, which supports waste auditing and recycling compliance workflows. At 0.6 mil, the film is appropriate for dry or moderately loaded waste streams such as paper, packaging, and light food waste. They are not rated for sharp, heavy, or wet waste that would require a heavier mil thickness. The 40 by 46 inch flat dimensions accommodate a wide range of standard 40 to 45 gallon cylindrical and square waste containers.
Designed as a standard replacement liner for 40 to 45 gallon cylindrical and square waste receptacles commonly used in commercial janitorial, institutional, and light industrial applications.
Insert the liner by shaking it open and draping the top edge over the rim of the receptacle to secure it in place. No tools are required. When removing a loaded liner, gather the top edges and tie or use a twist tie before lifting to prevent spillage. For waste streams involving sharp objects or heavy wet material, a higher mil thickness liner should be selected to avoid failure.
