The GENTENT GTOICSMS is a weatherproof running cover designed to allow portable inverter generators to operate safely outdoors in rain, snow, and severe weather. The canopy attaches around fully encased inverter generators and provides access to electrical panels and fuel points during operation. It is constructed from NFPA 701 flame-retardant, dual-coated rip-stop vinyl polyester with welded seams and outdoor-rated elastic straps and hook-and-loop closures. The cover is independently lab tested and rated for winds up to 70 MPH, hurricane-force precipitation up to 12 inches per hour, and snow loads up to 18 inches (55 pounds). This Standard Edition carries a 1-year limited warranty and is available in Tan with Black Trim or Grey with Black Trim.
The GTOICSMS is sized for fully encased portable inverter generators with a general perimeter ranging from approximately 40 inches to 104 inches, covering inverters from 1,000 watts up to 9,500 watts. It is intended for residential and light commercial backup power applications where the generator must remain outdoors and operational during storms or adverse weather events. The cover is installed by the generator owner or a qualified service technician and requires no permanent modification to the unit. The Standard Edition is sourced from China and is UV treated with a cold-crack temperature rating of -15 degrees F to 158 degrees F (-25 degrees C to 70 degrees C).
Designed for fully encased portable inverter generators with a general perimeter from approximately 40 inches to 104 inches and output ratings from 1,000 watts up to 9,500 watts. Available in Tan with Black Trim (GTOICSMSTN) and Grey with Black Trim (GTOICSMSGR).
Installation requires no tools or permanent modification to the generator. Before fitting the cover, position the generator on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated outdoor area and ensure all straps and closures are fully secured before operating in high-wind conditions.
