Genesis Cable 50035501 RG6 Dual Shield Catv Coax Cable

Product Description

The GENESIS CABLE 50035501 is an RG6 coaxial cable featuring a copper-clad steel (CCS) center conductor and dual-shield construction, packaged in a 500-foot pull box. Designed for CATV and broadband signal distribution, this cable delivers reliable RF performance across residential and light commercial installations. The dual-shield configuration provides added protection against signal interference and ingress, making it a practical choice for cable television, satellite, and antenna trunk runs. The white jacket finish suits in-wall and drop-ceiling routing where a clean appearance is required.

This cable is used in residential and commercial CATV distribution systems, antenna feed lines, and broadband coax runs. Installers pull it through walls, attics, and conduit for service drops and interior distribution. The 500-foot box format is sized for single-dwelling or multi-room jobs without mid-run splices. Low-voltage technicians, cable installers, and electricians working within low-voltage scopes are the primary trades handling this product.

Key Features

• RG6 form factor with CCS center conductor for signal integrity over standard runs
• Dual-shield construction reduces RF interference and signal ingress
• 500-foot pull box minimizes job-site waste and simplifies cable management
• White jacket suitable for interior surface or concealed routing
• CATV-rated for use in broadband, antenna, and satellite distribution applications

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit coaxial cable for residential and light commercial CATV, antenna, and satellite distribution systems using RG6 termination points and connectors.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or electrician operating within the applicable low-voltage scope of work. De-energize any active signal amplifiers or powered splitters before connecting or disconnecting coax runs. Use proper RG6-rated compression connectors and a calibrated compression tool to ensure weather-tight, low-loss terminations. Follow local building codes and NEC Article 820 guidelines for coaxial cable routing, clearances, and grounding requirements.
