The GENESIS CABLE 21031102 is a 22 AWG 4-conductor solid unshielded riser-rated cable supplied in a 1000-foot box. Designed for low-voltage signal and control wiring in commercial and residential buildings, this cable carries a riser (CMR) rating that meets fire-code requirements for vertical runs between floors. The solid conductor construction maintains stable resistance over long runs, making it well-suited for security systems, access control, fire alarm initiating circuits, and building automation wiring. The yellow jacket provides easy visual identification in conduit or cable bundles. Installation is performed by licensed low-voltage technicians and electricians working to NEC Article 800 and local riser-wiring requirements.
This cable is used in riser applications where a CMR-rated 4-conductor low-voltage wire is required. Typical installations include security alarm panels, card-access control runs, intercom wiring, thermostat and HVAC control circuits, and general-purpose signal distribution. The 1000-foot box format is suited for new construction pulls and large retrofit projects. Solid conductors are preferred for punch-down terminations at terminal blocks and data-style connections common in security and building-control panels.
