Riser (CMR) rating qualifies this cable for vertical runs between floors, meeting fire-propagation requirements for in-wall and between-floor installations. The solid conductor construction maintains stable resistance over long runs, making it well suited for alarm, access control, and intercom wiring where consistent signal integrity is required. Each spool contains 500 feet of gray-jacketed cable, providing enough run length for most single-zone or multi-drop installations without mid-run splices.
This cable is a standard choice for fire alarm signaling circuits, security system wiring, nurse call systems, and other low-voltage control applications installed inside building walls and vertical shaft spaces.
