The 30-2299 is a sub-miniature push button switch in a black housing, wired in a Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) configuration with a Normally Closed (NC) contact state. When the button is at rest, the circuit is complete; pressing the button opens the circuit. The switch uses solder terminals for a secure, permanent electrical connection and has a panel cutout size of 0.25 inches. It is sold as a 2-pack. These switches are suited for low-voltage control circuits, indicator panels, and equipment interlocks across HVAC, electrical, and light industrial applications.
This switch fits into sub-miniature panel applications where a compact footprint is required. Typical uses include control panel indicator circuits, safety interlock logic, and auxiliary shutoff functions in residential and light commercial equipment. The solder-terminal design makes it well suited for direct PCB or wire-lead applications where a screw or quick-connect terminal is not practical. The 2-pack quantity supports service stocking or dual-location installations.
Designed as a general-purpose sub-miniature SPST NC push button switch suitable for low-voltage control panel, PCB, and interlock circuit applications across HVAC, electrical, and light industrial equipment.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or controls technician. De-energize the circuit completely before soldering or handling switch terminals. Use appropriate soldering technique to avoid heat damage to the switch body — apply heat briefly and avoid prolonged contact with the terminal. Verify contact state (NC) and circuit logic before returning the panel or equipment to service.
