General Electric WR72X10053 Right Slide Basket Support

Product Description

The General Electric WR72X10053 is an OEM right-side slide basket support designed for GE refrigerators. This component mounts inside the refrigerator compartment and provides the structural track that allows a slide-out basket or drawer to open and close smoothly. Over time, plastic basket supports crack or break under repeated load cycles, causing drawers to sag, bind, or fall out of alignment. Replacing the failed support with this direct OEM part restores proper basket travel and keeps the interior storage system functioning as designed. Installation requires no special tools and is a straightforward swap for appliance repair technicians and capable DIYers alike.

This part is intended for use in GE refrigerator models where the right-side basket slide support has worn, cracked, or broken. It is a genuine OEM component manufactured to original equipment specifications, making it a direct fit for applicable units without modification. Typical applications include crisper drawer assemblies and mid-compartment pull-out baskets in freestanding and counter-depth GE refrigerators.

Installation Notes

Appliance repair technicians and experienced DIYers typically handle this repair. Disconnect the refrigerator from power before beginning any interior disassembly. Remove the affected basket or drawer fully to access the mounting points for the existing support, then release the old support and snap or fasten the replacement into position. Confirm the basket slides freely through its full range of travel before returning the unit to service.
