The GENERAL DCS600A is a handheld video borescope designed for visual inspection in confined, hard-to-reach spaces. It uses a flexible 1-meter probe with an 8.00 mm (0.31 inch) camera head to navigate cavities, bends, and passages that cannot be inspected by direct line of sight. The unit displays live footage on a built-in 4.0-inch TFT LCD color screen, giving the technician a clear view without pulling the probe. HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and mechanical contractors use this tool to inspect heat exchangers, drain lines, wall cavities, conduit runs, and equipment interiors.

This borescope suits residential and light commercial inspection work where a compact, self-contained camera system is required. Typical applications include heat exchanger crack inspection on gas furnaces, drain line blockage assessment, duct and flue inspection, and checking equipment interiors before and after service. The 54-degree field of view provides a wide enough image to identify cracks, blockages, corrosion, and debris buildup.
