The GENERAL AIR PRODUCTS AMD-2 Air Maintenance Device is designed for automatic operation with fire protection air compressors lacking a pressure switch. This device automatically controls air pressure in dry pipe, preaction, and dry pilot actuated deluge systems. It maintains system pressure by cycling the air compressor on and off within preset limits.
