The GENERAL 560 is a telescoping inspection mirror designed for visual inspection in tight, hard-to-reach spaces. The rectangular glass mirror measures 2 inches wide by 3.5 inches long and mounts on a knurled, vinyl-grip handle that collapses to 11.5 inches for compact storage. The telescoping shaft extends the mirror into confined areas such as equipment cabinets, wall cavities, behind panels, and under equipment. Technicians across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical trades use this tool for checking connections, spotting leaks, reading labels, and verifying component positions without disassembly.
This inspection mirror suits residential and light commercial service work where visual access is limited. It is a common hand tool carried by HVAC service technicians inspecting heat exchangers, flue connections, and evaporator coils, as well as plumbers checking drain lines and supply connections in confined spaces. Electricians use it when inspecting panel interiors, junction boxes, and conduit runs. The compact collapsed length makes it practical for standard tool pouches and service bags.
Designed as a general-purpose hand inspection tool suitable for use across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical service applications.
No installation is required for this hand tool. Extend the telescoping handle to the desired length before use and collapse it fully before storing to prevent damage to the mirror head. Avoid applying lateral force to the mirror head when extended, as glass mirrors can crack under side loads. Handle with care on smooth surfaces to avoid scratching the mirror face.
