The GEARWRENCH 86182 is a metric impact-rated nutsetter designed for use with impact drivers, power drills, and power screwdrivers. Built from chrome molybdenum alloy steel with a black oxide finish, this 11 mm hex nutsetter measures 2-9/16 inches in overall length and accepts a 1/4 inch hex shank. The torsion zone construction absorbs and redistributes impact force, extending tool life up to 50 times longer compared to standard nutsetters in high-torque impact applications. It is suited for driving lag bolts and breaking loose frozen fasteners in demanding trade and job-site conditions.
This nutsetter is used in residential and commercial construction, mechanical, electrical, and general trade work wherever metric hex fasteners are encountered. The minus-size socket geometry and tapered entry allow the tool to seat on damaged or worn fasteners that standard nutsetters cannot grip. The dual-sized socket design works with both SAE and metric fasteners, making it a versatile addition to an impact driver kit. Laser-etched size markings remain legible even after extended use in the field.
Designed as an impact-rated nutsetter for use with standard 1/4 inch hex shank impact drivers, power drills, and power screwdrivers driving 11 mm metric hex fasteners.
This nutsetter is installed and used by electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general contractors working with impact drivers or power drills. Verify the driver is set to the appropriate torque setting before use to avoid fastener damage. Inspect the nutsetter for wear or cracking before each use, particularly after high-torque applications. Disconnect or power down the tool before changing accessories.
