Product Description

The GATES B94 is a classical section wrapped V-belt built for demanding industrial power transmission applications. Constructed with a composite multi-purpose design, this belt resists oil, heat, ozone, sunlight, weather, and aging. The Flex-Weave cover is a patented fabric construction that extends protection to the belt core from oil, dirt, and heat. Flex-bonded cords are firmly bonded to the belt body for equal load distribution and absorption of bending stress without cord deterioration. The belt meets or exceeds RMA standards for static conductivity and oil and heat resistance. Licensed HVAC, mechanical, and millwright technicians install this belt in a wide range of drive configurations.

The B94 is suited for all industrial drive applications including V-flat drive configurations. A documented application includes use on Gleaner N5 combines equipped with Allis-Chalmers 6-cylinder 426 diesel engines for the tailings return drive. The curved sidewall geometry provides proper cord support and full sheave-groove contact for uniform loading and reduced wear.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanical or millwright technician. Disengage and lock out all power to the drive before removing or installing the belt. Never pry or force the belt over sheave flanges; always adjust center distance to relieve tension before installation. After installation, verify belt tension and alignment per the equipment manufacturer specifications before returning the drive to service.
