The GASOILA BT08 is a hard-setting pipe thread sealant supplied in a 1/2 pint can. It is designed to seal threaded pipe joints against leaks in gas, water, and steam systems. Rated for service temperatures from -60 degrees F up to 350 degrees F, it covers a wide range of operating conditions found in residential and commercial mechanical systems. Federal Gasoila Hard-Set sealant is suited for threaded connections in gas piping, water supply lines, steam lines, and general plumbing systems. It works on iron, steel, brass, and copper fittings.
