The GALLAGHER NORTH AMERICA G627014 is a 65-foot underground cable designed for direct burial applications in electric fence systems. Built with 12.5-gauge galvanized wire and a resistance rating of 56 ohms per mile, this cable delivers reliable signal continuity from the energizer to the fence line. The tough polyethylene double insulation protects against abrasion, moisture, and soil contact over the long term. It is sized and rated for standard leadout runs and undergate cabling where the conductor must pass beneath a gate or travel underground between fence sections. Fence installers and agricultural electricians are the primary trades that work with this product.
This cable is suited for use in agricultural, livestock, and perimeter security fence installations where the conductor must run underground rather than along the fence line. Typical applications include leadout connections between the energizer and the first fence post, as well as undergate crossings where an above-ground run is not practical. The 65-foot length covers most standard leadout and single undergate runs without splicing. The galvanized wire core maintains signal strength across the full run length.
Designed as an OEM-style underground leadout and undergate cable for use with standard electric fence energizer systems requiring direct-burial-rated conductor wire.
Installation is typically performed by fence contractors or agricultural electricians. Disconnect and de-energize the fence energizer completely before connecting or routing any underground cable. Bury the cable at a depth consistent with local code requirements and soil conditions to protect against damage from equipment or frost. Avoid sharp bends or kinks during burial, as these can compromise the insulation jacket over time.
