The G E LIGHTING 93129938 is a 2-pack of 9-watt HD+ BR30 LED flood light bulbs designed to replace 65-watt incandescent lamps. Each bulb delivers 650 lumens at a 2700 Kelvin color temperature, producing warm white light well suited for recessed cans, track fixtures, and general-purpose residential lighting. The medium base (E26) fits standard residential sockets. With a Color Rendering Index of 90 and full dimmer compatibility, these bulbs perform well in living areas, dining rooms, and hospitality spaces where accurate color rendition and light level control matter. Licensed electricians and facilities maintenance staff are the typical installers.
These BR30 bulbs are sized for 4-inch and 6-inch recessed housings commonly found in residential and light-commercial ceilings. The plastic HD+ construction keeps weight low and resists breakage during installation in overhead fixtures. Each bulb has a maximum overall length of 5.39 inches, which is relevant when fitting enclosed or shallow recessed cans. The 65-watt incandescent equivalency makes them a direct swap in retrofit applications without requiring fixture or dimmer changes in most installations. Note: these bulbs are not available for sale in California.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for standard medium-base (E26) recessed and track lighting fixtures accepting BR30 flood bulbs. Not for sale in California.
Power down the circuit at the breaker or switch before replacing any bulb in a recessed or track fixture. Confirm the fixture is rated for LED lamps and that any installed dimmer is on the manufacturer-approved dimmer compatibility list for LED loads. The 5.39-inch maximum overall length should be verified against the fixture trim depth before installation. Allow the fixture to cool completely before handling if replacing a previously energized bulb.
