Frigidaire 5303307893 Rear Bearing Lubricant Dryer

Product Description

The FRIGIDAIRE 5303307893 is a genuine OEM rear bearing lubricant designed for use in Frigidaire residential dryers. It is applied to the rear drum bearing to reduce friction, minimize wear, and maintain smooth drum rotation during normal operation. Proper lubrication of the rear bearing is critical to extending the service life of the drum support assembly and preventing premature failure of surrounding components. This is a direct replacement part sourced from the original manufacturer, ensuring correct formulation and fitment for the models it covers. Appliance technicians and experienced service professionals typically handle this repair.

This lubricant is used during rear bearing service on Frigidaire residential dryers. It is typically applied when the dryer drum is removed to access the rear bearing assembly, either as part of a bearing replacement or during a preventive maintenance service. Any repair that involves disassembling the drum support area may call for fresh lubrication on reassembly to restore proper function and reduce noise caused by dry or worn bearing surfaces.

Installation Notes

Disconnect power to the dryer before beginning any disassembly. This lubricant is applied by an appliance service technician during drum removal when accessing the rear bearing assembly. Follow the dryer service manual for the correct disassembly sequence and apply lubricant only to the designated bearing surface. Do not over-apply, as excess lubricant can attract lint and debris, potentially causing additional wear over time.
