Frigidaire 241778808 Mullion Trim Refrigerator

Product Description

The FRIGIDAIRE 241778808 is a genuine OEM mullion trim piece designed for refrigerator door assemblies. A mullion is the structural and sealing divider between refrigerator and freezer compartment doors on select side-by-side and French door models. This part maintains proper door alignment, supports the gasket interface, and helps preserve the insulated barrier between compartments. At 37.76 inches long, it is sized for full-height door column applications. Installation is typically handled by appliance service technicians as part of door seal or frame restoration work.

This mullion trim is used in residential refrigerator applications where the existing divider strip has cracked, warped, or lost its structural integrity. Proper fitment of this part is critical to maintaining the thermal seal between compartments, which directly affects unit efficiency and food preservation. It is a direct OEM replacement sourced from FRIGIDAIRE, ensuring correct fit without modification.

Unplug the refrigerator before beginning any door or trim service work. Mullion trim replacement is typically performed by a qualified appliance technician. Verify that the new trim seats fully and that the door gasket interfaces properly before restoring power.
