Frigidaire 134885900 Washer Door Spring

Product Description

The FRIGIDAIRE 134885900 is a genuine OEM washer door spring designed to maintain proper tension and alignment on the door assembly of front-load and top-load washing machines. This spring holds the door or lid mechanism in the correct position during the wash cycle, preventing vibration, improper sealing, and operational faults. It is manufactured to the original equipment specification, ensuring direct fitment without modification. Appliance repair technicians and service professionals install this part as a direct replacement when the original spring has broken, stretched, or lost tension.

This door spring is used in residential washing machine applications where the door or lid assembly requires a functioning tension spring to operate correctly. A failed or weakened spring can cause the door to sag, fail to latch, or trigger error codes related to door sensing. Replacing this component restores normal door function and allows the machine to complete cycles without interruption. This part is appropriate for service calls where physical inspection confirms spring fatigue or breakage.
