The FRIEDRICH AIR CONDITIONING PVH09R3FC is a FreshAire Make-Up Air Inverter PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner) with heat pump, rated at 9600 BTU/h cooling and operating on 265 volts. It uses a precision inverter variable-speed compressor to deliver up to 13 EER and a 15 SEER equivalent, while maintaining precise temperature control across a wide load range. The unit brings up to 52 CFM of conditioned, MERV 8 filtered outside air into the space, helping facilities meet ASHRAE 62.1-2013 indoor air quality requirements. Internal and external coils are treated with DiamondBlue advanced corrosion protection. Licensed HVAC technicians perform installation in commercial and multi-family residential settings.
The PVH09R3FC is designed for hotel and motel guest rooms, healthcare facilities, offices, apartments, dormitories, and residential add-on applications. The inverter compressor operates from 20% to 120% of rated capacity, matching output to actual space demand for improved comfort and reduced energy consumption. Application HSPF ratings reach up to 11.57, making this unit well-suited for climates requiring both efficient heating and cooling. FriedrichLink energy management thermostats, available wired or wireless with integrated occupancy sensors and five energy presets, are compatible accessories sold separately.

Installation of a PTAC unit should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer installation instructions. Before servicing or replacing a PTAC, shut off electrical power at the circuit breaker and confirm the circuit is de-energized before handling any wiring or components. Verify that the wall sleeve dimensions and electrical supply voltage match the unit specifications prior to installation. Do not operate the unit without confirming proper drainage and that all duct knockouts or make-up air openings are correctly configured per the installation manual.
