The FREUD DPH12P5 is a 5-pack of 2-inch, No. 1 Phillips drive bits engineered for professional fastener installation and removal. Each bit features an optimized tip geometry that delivers a strong, precise grip to reduce wear, stripping, and slippage during driving. The torque-resistant shank design absorbs rotational stress at the bit tip, extending service life when tightening and removing screws and nuts. Built impact-strong, these bits provide increased shank stability and durability in both cordless and corded impact drivers and drill drivers. This is a working-tool consumable suited to daily trade use across multiple fastener applications.
These Phillips bits are appropriate for residential and commercial construction, HVAC panel assembly, electrical enclosure work, plumbing fixture installation, and general mechanical fastening tasks. The No. 1 Phillips profile fits smaller-head screws commonly encountered in finish work, equipment panels, and light-gauge fastener applications. The 2-inch length provides clearance in standard bit-holder chucks and quick-release impact driver collets without excessive extension.
Designed for use with standard quarter-inch hex quick-release impact drivers, drill drivers, and bit holders accepting 2-inch drive bits with a No. 1 Phillips profile.
These drive bits are installed and replaced by the end user without tools — simply seat the hex shank into the driver chuck or quick-release collet. Ensure the bit tip is fully seated in the fastener head before applying torque to avoid tip wear and fastener damage. Replace bits when tip geometry shows visible rounding or deformation, as a worn tip increases cam-out risk and fastener damage. No special certifications are required to use driver bits, but follow applicable trade codes when working on electrical, HVAC, or plumbing systems where these fasteners are applied.
