Install and remove this bit only while the rotary hammer is powered off and the chuck is fully disengaged. Confirm the SDS-Plus chuck is clean and free of debris before inserting the bit shank. When drilling into reinforced concrete, reduce feed pressure slightly upon rebar contact to prevent bit deflection. Follow applicable OSHA and jobsite safety protocols, including eye and hearing protection, when operating rotary hammer equipment.
