The FREUD DMAMM1030 is a multi-material carbide tipped hammer drill bit engineered for use in tile, masonry, concrete, wood, and metal. Sold in a 5-piece pack, this bit measures 3/16 inches in diameter with a 4-inch working length and 6-inch overall length. The carbide tip is optimized through a unique brazing and hardening process that extends service life and drilling speed. A multi-ground grip point tip delivers aggressive starts and clean, fast holes across a wide range of substrate types. The shank is impact-strong for added stability and durability in both cordless and corded impact drivers and drill drivers.
This bit is suited for trade professionals and experienced installers working across mixed-material applications — including tile-over-concrete substrates, masonry walls, structural wood framing, and light metal. The 3/16-inch diameter and 6-inch overall length make it appropriate for anchor bolt holes, fastener pilot holes, and similar penetration tasks in residential and light commercial construction and renovation work.
Designed for use with standard cordless and corded hammer drills, impact drivers, and drill drivers. Compatible with applications requiring a 3/16-inch diameter bit in tile, masonry, concrete, wood, and metal substrates.
Installation should be performed by qualified tradespeople familiar with hammer drill operation and applicable fastening requirements. Ensure the drill or driver is set to the correct mode — hammer drill mode for masonry and concrete, standard drill mode for wood and metal — before beginning. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection when drilling into masonry, tile, or concrete. Inspect the bit shank and tip for wear or damage before each use.
