The FREUD DHS1875 is a Diablo-series hole saw measuring 1-7/8 inches in diameter with a 2-3/8 inch cutting depth. It is engineered for high-performance boring through wood and metal in a single pass. The variable tooth design reduces vibration during cutting and improves cut speed. Tool-free plug ejection clears material without stopping work. The Snap Lock system allows fast, tool-free mandrel changes, keeping downtime minimal on the job. This hole saw is suited for electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, and general contractors who need reliable, repeatable hole boring in light construction and rough-in applications.
The DHS1875 is designed for use in wood and metal substrates, making it a practical fit for rough-in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC penetration work. The Snap Lock mandrel interface is compatible with all Diablo hole saws ranging from 5/8 inch to 6 inch diameter, allowing one mandrel to serve multiple saw sizes across a toolkit. Note that the mandrel and pilot bit are sold separately and are not included with this saw.
Designed for use with Diablo Snap Lock mandrels compatible with hole saws from 5/8 inch to 6 inch diameter. Suitable for cutting wood and metal. Mandrel and pilot bit are sold separately.
Install the hole saw onto a compatible Snap Lock mandrel before use. Ensure the drill or drill press is powered off and unplugged before attaching or removing the hole saw. Use appropriate RPM settings for the material being cut — lower speeds are generally recommended for metal to prevent tooth damage and overheating. Follow applicable worksite safety codes when boring penetrations in structural or fire-rated assemblies.
