The FREUD 34-116 is a carbide roundover router bit designed to cut smooth, consistent radius profiles along the edges of wood, composite, and similar materials. With a 1.5-inch overall diameter and a 0.5-inch radius, it produces a substantial roundover profile suitable for furniture edges, cabinet doors, countertops, and millwork applications. The 0.25-inch shank fits standard and compact router collets. Cutting length measures 0.625 inches, and total tool length is 2.1875 inches. The carbide construction delivers durability and extended edge life compared to high-speed steel alternatives. This bit is used by cabinetmakers, finish carpenters, and woodworking tradespeople.
This bit is suited for stationary router table setups as well as handheld plunge and fixed-base routers accepting a 0.25-inch collet. Typical applications include softwood and hardwood edge profiling, MDF cabinet components, and solid-surface trim work. The 0.5-inch radius produces a generous rounded edge that reduces sharp corners on finished panels and tabletops. Package quantity is 10 units, making it practical for shop stocking or multi-crew operations.
Designed for use in any router accepting a 0.25-inch collet, including standard fixed-base, plunge, and table-mounted router configurations.
Router bits should be installed and adjusted only with the router unplugged or the power switch locked out. Insert the shank fully into the collet and retract approximately 1/16 inch before tightening to the manufacturer-specified collet torque. Inspect the bit for cracks or chipped carbide before each use and replace if damage is found. Feed direction and depth-of-cut adjustments should follow standard woodworking router practices.
