The FLUKE NETWORKS 10061100 is a punchdown termination tool packaged as a 2-piece set in a clamshell enclosure. Punchdown tools are used by low-voltage electricians and network cabling technicians to seat and trim conductors into IDC-style connectors found on 110 and 66 blocks, keystone jacks, and patch panels. The clamshell packaging keeps both pieces secured and protected during storage and transport. At 0.51 pounds, the kit is lightweight and easy to carry in a tool bag to job sites.
This tool is suited for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential environments. It is commonly used during the termination phase of voice, data, and low-voltage cabling runs. Technicians working on telecommunications rooms, server closets, or wall outlet installations will find this tool appropriate for their punchdown termination tasks.
Designed as an OEM-style termination tool for use with IDC-style punchdown connectors commonly found in low-voltage structured cabling installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or qualified electrician familiar with structured cabling standards. De-energize any active circuits before working near termination blocks or patch panels. Follow TIA-568 or applicable local cabling standards for proper conductor seating and pair sequencing. Do not use the tool on energized conductors.
