The FLUIDMASTER INC B1F16CS is a faucet supply line connector designed to link shut-off valves to faucet inlets in residential and light commercial plumbing installations. It features a 3/8 inches compression inlet on one end and a 1/2 inches female iron pipe (FIP) outlet on the other, with an overall length of 16 inches. The Click Seal design provides an audible click when the connection is properly tightened, giving installers a clear confirmation of adequate torque without guesswork. The flexible construction resists kinking and creasing even in confined under-sink spaces, making it well suited for tight cabinet rough-ins.
This connector is used in residential bathroom and kitchen faucet installations where a flexible supply line is needed between a standard compression angle stop and a faucet tail piece with 1/2 inches FIP threads. It is appropriate for new construction, fixture replacements, and remodel work. The 16 inches length accommodates typical under-sink depths and gives enough slack to route around cabinetry framing. Licensed plumbers and experienced DIYers install this connector during faucet changeouts and full fixture replacements.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation supply line for residential faucets requiring a 3/8 inches compression inlet connection and a 1/2 inches female iron pipe outlet connection.
Shut off the water supply at the angle stop or main shut-off and relieve line pressure before disconnecting any existing supply line. This connector is installed by licensed plumbers or qualified tradespeople in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Hand-tighten the compression nut first, then snug with a wrench until the audible click is heard on the Click Seal end. Do not over-tighten the FIP connection; use thread sealant tape on male threads per standard practice.
