The FLOWCENTER PRODUCTS FCP-RAM/FLEX is a pressure boosting tool designed to inject small amounts of clean water into hydronic or closed-loop systems to restore and maintain correct system pressure. The tool features a 100 psi stainless steel liquid-filled pressure gauge for stable, accurate readings and a 1/16 inch fluid injector needle sized for standard PT ports. A 3/4 inch FHT swivel connection accepts standard garden hose fittings, and a flexible rubber hose extends reach to pressure-test ports in tight or awkward locations. An integrated isolation shut-off valve gives the technician direct control over flow during the fill process. Licensed plumbing and HVAC professionals use this tool during system commissioning and pressure maintenance service calls.
The FCP-RAM/FLEX is suited for residential and light commercial hydronic heating systems, radiant floor systems, and other closed-loop piping applications where periodic pressure boosts are required. The 3/4 inch FHT swivel allows connection to a standard hose bib or utility faucet, making the tool straightforward to deploy without specialty adapters. The flexible rubber hose section is particularly useful when PT plugs are recessed behind equipment panels or near tight manifold assemblies.
Designed for use with closed-loop hydronic and radiant heating systems equipped with standard PT ports and 3/4 inch FHT hose bib connections.
Installation and use should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician familiar with closed-loop hydronic system pressure requirements. Before connecting the tool, verify the system pressure and confirm the fill fluid is clean, potable water appropriate for the system. Connect to a hose bib and use the isolation shut-off valve to control flow — avoid over-pressurizing the system beyond its rated relief valve setting. Always depressurize and disconnect the tool after the fill procedure is complete.
