Product Description

The FERNCO INC P1056-32 is a flexible reducing coupling designed to connect 3-inch pipe to 2-inch pipe in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) plumbing systems. It ships with two stainless steel clamps that compress the coupling body to create a tight, leak-resistant seal at both ends. The coupling body is flexible, which allows it to absorb minor pipe misalignment and vibration without cracking or loosening over time. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting during new construction and repair work where a pipe size transition is required in underground or above-ground DWV runs.

This coupling is rated for transitions between 3-inch and 2-inch pipe in residential and light commercial DWV applications. It accepts cast iron pipe on either end, plastic pipe on either end, or any combination of cast iron and plastic — making it well suited for repair work where existing cast iron lines are being tied into newer PVC or ABS runs.
