The FERNCO INC P1056-150/125 is a flexible reducing coupling designed to join 1.5-inch pipe to 1.25-inch pipe in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping systems. It ships with two stainless steel clamps that compress a flexible sleeve to create a tight, leak-resistant mechanical joint. Licensed plumbers and drain technicians install this coupling in residential and light commercial plumbing when a reducer transition is needed between mismatched pipe sizes. The flexible construction accommodates minor misalignment and offset, making it a practical choice for repair and retrofit work where rigid couplings are difficult to seat.

Torque the stainless steel clamps evenly and do not overtighten, which can distort the sleeve and compromise the joint.
