The FERNCO 3001-22 ProFlex shielded coupling is a neoprene gasket coupling designed for quick, reliable connections in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping systems. The neoprene sleeve compresses around the pipe ends and is secured by stainless steel shield bands, creating a leak-resistant mechanical joint without solvent cement or heat. The 2-inch size fits standard 2-inch pipe ends across multiple material types. Licensed plumbers and journeymen pipe fitters install this coupling for DWV repairs and new rough-in work in residential and light commercial construction.
The 3001-22 is rated for above-ground use only and is compatible with cast iron, plastic, steel, and copper drain, waste, and vent pipe. Installation Notes
