The FERNCO 3000-22 Proflex is a 2-inch neoprene shielded coupling designed for fast, reliable connections in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping systems. The flexible neoprene sleeve compresses under stainless steel shielding to create a secure, leak-resistant joint without the need for soldering, threading, or cement. This coupling is rated for above-ground applications only and is commonly installed by licensed plumbers during new construction, renovation, or repair work on DWV systems.
This coupling is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications where a quick mechanical connection is needed between pipe ends. It works across multiple pipe materials, making it a practical solution when connecting dissimilar pipe types within the same DWV run. Above-ground interior plumbing is the intended install environment. It is not rated for buried or below-slab use.

Installation Notes

Tighten the shielding band clamps evenly to the manufacturer torque specification indicated on the product packaging.
