The FEIT ELECTRIC ADJ12000/5K/LED is a 120-watt frosted LED garage light designed to replace up to 500-watt incandescent or HID fixtures. It delivers 12000 lumens of crisp 5000K daylight-spectrum light through four independently adjustable panels, each folding up to 90 degrees to direct output exactly where it is needed. The E26 medium base allows installation in standard sockets without adapters. Rated for 20,000 hours of operation, this fixture suits high-bay applications, large commercial spaces, and overhead shop lighting where consistent, high-output illumination is critical. Licensed electricians and experienced contractors are the typical installers for commercial ceiling applications.
This light is well suited for large garages, warehouses, workshops, and commercial spaces with high ceilings. The four-panel foldable design allows the installer to aim light toward workbenches, machinery, or specific floor zones rather than relying on uniform diffusion. The 5000K color temperature renders fine detail clearly, making it appropriate for inspection bays, fabrication areas, and service shops where accurate color and contrast matter. The frosted lens reduces harsh glare while maintaining high lumen output across the coverage area.
Designed as a direct E26 base replacement for standard medium-base socket fixtures in residential garages, commercial shops, and high-ceiling utility spaces. Non-dimmable; requires a non-dimming circuit.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. Always de-energize the circuit at the breaker and verify absence of voltage before handling the fixture or socket. Because this light is non-dimmable, confirm the controlling switch or circuit does not include a dimmer module, as dimmer-controlled circuits can damage the LED driver and void the rating. For overhead or high-ceiling mounts, use appropriate ladders or lifts and follow applicable OSHA work-at-height guidelines.
