Fatwood 8808 Fire Starter Drops 8 Count

Product Description

The FATWOOD 8808 is a box of eight Firedrop fire starters designed for quick, reliable ignition of indoor and outdoor fires. Each Firedrop is made from highly resinous sawdust combined with a paraffin wax binder, producing a compact starter that lights with a single match and burns hot enough to establish a solid flame bed without the need for accelerants or lighter fluid. The non-toxic formulation makes these suitable for use in enclosed and open-air settings alike. Homeowners, outdoor enthusiasts, and service technicians maintaining wood-burning appliances commonly keep these on hand for fast, consistent fire starting.

These fire starters are well suited to residential and light commercial applications involving solid-fuel burning equipment and outdoor fire features. Common install and use scenarios include wood-burning fireplaces, chimineas, wood pellet stoves, fire pits, and campfire rings. Because they require only a match to ignite, they work reliably in low-access conditions where newspaper or kindling may not be practical. The compact size allows easy storage near the appliance or in a field service bag.

Place one Firedrop beneath the fuel load before striking a match - no pre-soaking or additional accelerant is needed. Follow local fire codes and appliance manufacturer guidelines for solid-fuel burning equipment. Keep out of reach of children and store away from additional ignition sources.
