Product Description

The Falcon SC71A DS AL is a heavy-duty surface door closer with a dead stop parallel arm designed for commercial and institutional high-traffic installations. It is non-handed, adjustable sizes 1–6, and provides separate adjustable general speed, latch speed, and backcheck. The unit uses a 1.5-inch heat-treated steel piston, double heat-treated pinion, and UL10C-approved fluid, and is ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 and ADA compliant.

  • Dead stop parallel arm with positive mechanical stop; non-handed for left or right swinging doors
  • Adjustable spring sizes 1–6 with separate adjustable general speed, latch speed and backcheck
  • 1.5 in heat-treated steel piston and double heat-treated pinion with UL10C-approved fluid; ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 and ADA compliant
