The FAIRLANE PG-0375 is a fully threaded adjustable positioning gripper designed for use in fixturing, workholding, and part positioning applications. It features a serrated tooth face with an extra fine tooth grade, allowing it to grip workpieces securely without excessive marking. The 3/8-16 thread with a 1 inch thread length makes it straightforward to install in standard threaded fixtures and tooling plates. A 3/16 inch internal hex drive allows for tightening with a standard hex key. The carbide-tipped pad with a 1/4 inch pad diameter provides durable, repeatable contact. The black oxide finish offers mild corrosion resistance in shop environments. This gripper is typically installed by tooling technicians, machinists, or fixture builders.
The PG-0375 is suited for use in precision fixturing, welding positioners, assembly fixtures, and machine tool workholding setups. Its adjustable, fully threaded design allows repositioning along the threaded body to accommodate workpieces of varying thickness or height. The extra fine serrated tooth pattern is appropriate for applications where controlled grip force is needed without aggressive surface damage to the part being held. It is a common component in custom jig and fixture builds across light manufacturing and fabrication environments.
Designed as a standard replacement or new-build component for adjustable positioning gripper applications using 3/8-16 threaded fixtures, tooling plates, and workholding assemblies.
Installation is typically performed by machinists or fixture technicians using a 3/16 inch hex key. Ensure the threaded hole in the fixture plate is clean and free of debris before threading in the gripper. Disengage or de-energize any clamping or actuating equipment before adjusting gripper position. Do not over-torque the gripper body, as this may damage the carbide tip or the thread in softer fixture materials.
