The ERGODYNE 60219 is the Skullerz 8975V Class C Safety Helmet with Visor Kit, a combined head and face protection solution for trade professionals working in construction, utilities, and industrial environments. The kit pairs the 8975 Class C safety helmet with the 8991 visor, offering six-point suspension coverage across the front, back, top, and sides of the head. The visor mounts easily to the helmet shell and features a UV-protective, ANSI Z87-rated, anti-fog, scratch-resistant clear lens tested to EN166. A one-handed ratcheting adjustment knob and chin strap keep the helmet secured and correctly fitted throughout a shift.
This helmet and visor kit is suited for residential and commercial job sites where both impact protection and eye or face protection are required simultaneously. The compact shell design improves upward visibility, which benefits workers on elevated platforms or in overhead work scenarios. Integrated headlamp slots on the front and rear allow compatibility with Skullerz hard hat LED lighting accessories. The removable sweatband and top pad are made of breathable, sweat-wicking, odor-resistant, machine-washable materials for all-day wear. Hat sizes 6.5 through 8, corresponding to head circumferences of 21 inches through 25 inches, are accommodated by the ratcheting suspension system.
Designed for use as a complete head and face protection system; the 8991 visor is engineered to mount directly to the 8975 Class C safety helmet included in this kit. Compatible with Skullerz hard hat LED headlamp accessories via integrated front and rear headlamp slots.
Fitting and adjustment should be performed before entering the work area. Power down or de-energize the immediate work zone per site safety protocols before donning or doffing the helmet in live electrical environments. Use the one-handed ratchet knob to dial in a snug, stable fit and confirm the chin strap is secured prior to beginning work. The visor should be inspected for cracks, fogging, or coating damage before each use and replaced if visibility is compromised.
