The ERGODYNE 29093 GloWear hi-vis leg gaiters provide knee-to-ankle visibility coverage for workers operating in low-light or high-traffic environments. Constructed from ultralight, breathable polyester mesh with elastic stretch, these gaiters slip over boots and pants without tools or hardware. Two 2-inch ANSI-compliant 360-degree reflective tape strips run the circumference of each gaiter in a two-tone contrasting pattern, increasing conspicuity during both daytime and nighttime conditions. Drawstring closures at the top and bottom allow fast, secure adjustment across a range of leg sizes. These gaiters meet ANSI/ISEA 107 Class E requirements and are intended for installation by safety-conscious trades and site supervisors managing high-visibility PPE programs.
These leg gaiters are suited for road construction crews, utility workers, flaggers, and general site laborers required to wear hi-vis PPE under ANSI/ISEA 107 standards. The one-size-fits-most design, with a width of approximately 22 inches (56 cm) and a length of approximately 18.5 inches (47 cm), accommodates most adult leg profiles. The lime colorway pairs directly with Class 2 hi-vis safety vests to complete a Class 3 high-visibility ensemble, making them a practical add-on when job specifications or municipal codes require full Class 3 compliance.
Designed as a Class E hi-vis accessory compatible with ANSI/ISEA 107 Class 2 safety vests to form a compliant Class 3 hi-vis ensemble. Pairs with hi-vis sashes, arm bands, and neck shades for additional conspicuity coverage.
No tools are required to don these gaiters. Pull each gaiter over the foot and up the lower leg, positioning the coverage from knee to ankle, then tighten the drawstring closures at the top and bottom for a secure fit. Inspect reflective tape for damage or soiling before each shift, as contaminated tape reduces retroreflective performance. Cleaning and retirement schedules should follow your site safety program and applicable ANSI/ISEA 107 guidelines.
