The ERGODYNE 19205 is a standard-length tool lanyard designed to tether hand tools and equipment weighing up to 10 pounds (4.5 kg) and prevent dropped-object incidents at elevated worksites. The lanyard is constructed from shock-absorbing tubular nylon webbing with lock stitching at both ends for secure load retention. One end features a single-action locking screwgate aluminum carabiner with a captive eye design, which better predicts the direction of load and prevents the lanyard from sliding into the carabiner gate. The other end uses a cinch loop for attachment to tools with captive holes. Reflective accents add visibility in low-light conditions. This unit is third-party certified to ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 with a 2:1 safety factor.
The 19205 is suited for trade and industrial professionals working at height in construction, telecommunications, oil and gas, power generation, utilities, wind energy, and manufacturing environments. In standard size, the lanyard stretches from 35 to 45 inches in length. This listing is for a 100-count bulk pack, making it a practical option for outfitting crews or maintaining a site-wide dropped-object prevention program. The lime color supports high-visibility compliance on busy job sites.
Designed for use with tools up to 10 pounds featuring captive holes or anchor points compatible with a cinch loop attachment. Suitable for use across construction, telecommunications, oil and gas, power generation, utilities, wind energy, and manufacturing industries where dropped-object protection is required.
Tool lanyards of this type are typically deployed by any trade worker operating at height and do not require a licensed installer. Before attaching, inspect the carabiner gate and screwgate function to confirm proper locking. Secure the cinch loop fully around the tool anchor point before beginning work. Follow site-specific dropped-object prevention plans and applicable ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 program requirements when integrating these lanyards into a formal tool-tethering system.
