The ERGODYNE 19143 is the Squids 5545 arm and wrist scanner mount, designed to secure a barcode or handheld scanner directly to the user's wrist, forearm, or upper arm during active use. The mount features a 360-degree swivel that allows full rotation between portrait and landscape orientations without removing the device, keeping all buttons and controls accessible at all times. A high-quality elastic band construction keeps the mount breathable and lightweight for all-day wear. Installation requires no tools - durable hook-and-loop straps wrap around the arm or wrist for a snug, adjustable fit. Intended for warehouse, distribution, and logistics environments where hands-free scanner access improves workflow and reduces drop incidents.
The 19143 is suited for industrial and commercial environments where workers need continuous scanner access throughout a shift. The relaxed length ranges from 13 inches to 17 inches stretched, accommodating a variety of scanner body sizes via snug elastic side panels. Without the extender strap, the arm size range spans 5.5 inches to 15 inches. With the included extender strap attached, the range expands to 11.5 inches to 27 inches, covering wrist through upper arm sizing. An elastic accessory loop on the mount holds a stylus, pen, pencil, marker, or small cutting tool, keeping additional tools close without requiring a separate holder.
Designed to accommodate a variety of handheld barcode and area-imaging scanners; snug elastic side panels flex to fit different scanner body widths. Confirm scanner dimensions against the relaxed-to-stretched length range of 13 inches to 17 inches before ordering.
No tools are required for installation. Power down or place the scanner in a safe state before sliding it into the mount to avoid unintended scanning during setup. Wrap the hook-and-loop straps firmly around the target arm location - wrist, forearm, or upper arm - and press the closure flat to confirm a secure hold before resuming work. Inspect strap closures and elastic panels periodically for wear, and replace the mount if elasticity or hook-and-loop grip is compromised.
