The ERGODYNE 17995 is a cut and puncture-resistant work glove rated ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5 and EN 388 4X43E, built for trade professionals working in cold, wet, or high-cut-risk environments. The shell is constructed from 13-gauge HPPE and lined with a 10-gauge brushed acrylic fleece for thermal comfort. A full latex coating makes the glove waterproof, blocking water infiltration and cold air. The nitrile-dipped sandy grip palm provides reliable grip on wet or oily surfaces. Sized extra-large, the glove is sold as a pair and meets both ANSI 105 and EN 388 standards. HVAC technicians, pipefitters, electricians, and general tradespeople working in cold conditions or around sharp metal edges are the primary users.
This glove is suited for cold-weather outdoor and indoor trade work where cut protection and waterproofing are both required. Typical applications include sheet metal handling, pipe installation, winter construction, and utility work. The acrylic fleece liner adds warmth without significantly reducing dexterity, making it practical for tasks that require hand mobility in low-temperature conditions. The knit cuff helps retain heat and keep debris out at the wrist. The unisex sizing covers both mens extra-large and womens large hands.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-purchase option within the ERGODYNE Series 7551 glove line, sized extra-large for unisex trade use.
No installation is required for personal protective equipment. Inspect gloves before each use for tears, punctures, or coating degradation that could compromise protection. Replace gloves when the cut-resistant shell or waterproof coating shows visible wear. Follow your employer's PPE program and applicable OSHA hand protection requirements when selecting and using cut-resistant gloves.
