The ERGODYNE 16784 is a strap-on ice cleat designed to add stud traction to footwear in icy or slippery outdoor conditions. The pull-on attachment method stretches over the sole and heel of compatible footwear, keeping the cleat securely in place without buckles or laces. Constructed from rubber, the cleat conforms to the shape of the boot and remains flexible in cold temperatures. This unit fits a Large shoe size, covering men's and women's sizes 4 to 7, and is sold as a single pair. It is a practical solution for workers who need temporary traction enhancement on job sites, loading docks, or outdoor work areas during winter conditions.
The ERGODYNE 16784 is suited for general outdoor work environments where ice, packed snow, or slick walking surfaces are a regular hazard. The unisex sizing and pull-on design make it a quick field solution for HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and other trade professionals working outdoors or on exposed surfaces in cold weather. The stud-style traction pattern bites into hard ice and compacted surfaces, providing grip underfoot during service calls or job-site access. Compatible with most work boots, it is a common addition to cold-weather PPE kits.
Designed to fit most work boots in a Large size range (sizes 4 to 7, unisex). Replacement spikes are compatible with TREX 6301.
Pull-on ice cleats are installed and removed by hand with no tools required. Stretch the cleat over the toe of the boot first, then pull the heel strap into place. Inspect the rubber straps for cracking or wear before each use, particularly after prolonged cold-weather exposure. Remove cleats before walking on smooth indoor floors to prevent slipping and to preserve the traction studs.
